5 Things I’m Loving in November

November is the month to focus on our gratitude. It’s a beautiful month to reflect and pause as the seasons change.

These reoccurring monthly posts are some of my favorites to write because I get to share with you things that I am loving right now. I am extremely grateful for so many wonderful gifts in my life, but here are 5.

5 Things I’m Loving Right Now:

poweriswithinyou#1:  The Power Is Within You by Louise L. Hay. This is a MUST read for anyone, and especially those on a self discovery journey. I was desperate to find a book that could help teach me how to really love myself as I am, and this book is it. “Louise L. Hay expands her philosophies of loving the self through learning to listen and trust the inner voice; loving the child within; letting our true feelings out; the responsibility of parenting; releasing our fears about growing older; allowing ourselves to receive prosperity; expressing our creativity; accepting change as a natural part of life; creating a world that is ecologically sound; where it’s safe to love each other’; and much more.”

photo (7)#2:  Emotional Blends with Essential Oils. I love the subtle, yet powerful effects that essential oils have on the emotions and subconscious mind. To help support my body through change, I am using a blend of essential oils to help with Self Worth. I multiplied this recipe by 5 and added it all together to a roller bottle to use throughout the day.

ilialipstick#3:  Ilia non-toxic lipstick. I am always trying to reduce my toxic load by choosing more natural bath and beauty products. My favorite makeup is from RMS Beauty, but I have just fallen in love with a new natural lipstick from Ilia. The main ingredients are castor seed oil, sesame seed oil, sunflower oil, beeswax, candelilla wax, cocoa seed oil, aloe and grape seed oil.  My favorite colors are the Neon Angel and the Wild Child.

floattanks#4:  Float Tanks. This really deserves its own post, but I still need to mention it. I am obsessed. A friend of mine told me about float tanks and I have been hooked ever since. A float tank or also know as a sensory deprivation tank is a therapeutic experience where you float in 10 inches of water filled with 800lbs of epsom salt in total silence and darkness. The benefits of this are amazing. Just 1 hour in a tank is equivalent to 8hrs of sleep.  The salt water is healing to the body. It’s great for pain. However, emotionally it is so beneficial. You can access your subconscious mind very quickly because you have no distractions. I’ve experienced a lot of emotional healing sitting with my thoughts for over an hour. I love it!

chia-kombucha#5: Kombucha with Chia Seeds. I am obsessed with kombucha and try and drink some every day. Kombucha is a fermented tea that is full of probiotics that help to bring back good bacteria to your gut. My new favorite is the drink with added chia seeds. I like the Synergy brand and love the raspberry flavor. I love the gelatin texture and the added health benefits of chia. Chia seeds are full of protein, omegas, fiber, magnesium and help stabilize your blood sugar and boost metabolism.

I would love to hear from you.

Comment below and share with me what some of your favorite things are this month.

Thanks for commenting. I would love to see your oil recipes :) The float tanks are amazing. It’s a place called Nashville Float and Massage off Berry Rd. You should check them out. It is a crazy experience.

First, I love love love kombucha. I have a few friends who make their own. Have you ever thought of doing that? Second, where on earth do you access a float tank? Is it difficult to be still for an hour?

Love your post!! I found Louise Hay’s teachings about 6 years ago. One of my favorite recourses from her is the Feeling Fine Affirmations CD!
