Bill Maher on GMOs and Prop 37
Leave it to Bill Maher to call GMO company Monsanto, ”Fu***** Monsanto”. I don’t watch much tv and wouldn’t say I’m a fan of Bill Maher – however, he couldn’t be more dead on with this issue.
Last Friday night he invited, Stonyfield Farm Cofounder and Chairman Gary Hirshberg, on the show to discuss Prop 37. If you didn’t see it, or generally despise Bill Maher, I encourage you to watch this clip (prewarned: it does contain the Fword). He beautifully sums up what GMOs are, and why we need them to be labeled in just 8 short minutes.
I can’t imagine being in California right now and being inundated with those false commercials telling me that GMOs are safe. Even if you don’t live in California you can help. Those who are fighting the Right to Know what’s in your food campaign is being outspent by big companies like Monsanto 10 to 1. If you can help donate, any money would help.
