Genetic Roulette
A friend of mine emailed me this morning (thanks Kristianna) and urged me to watch this movie. With all the noise right now about Prop 37 in California to label GMO’s this movie couldn’t come at a better time. Jeffery Smith is a hero in the NON-GMO world and is an expert of the grave health benefits from GMO’s. He has written several books, including his most popular Seeds of Deception: Exposing Industry and Government Lies About the Safety of the Genetically Modified Foods Your Eating.
This documentary is being offered for free through tomorrow only, September 22nd. After that you’ll have to order it. Plus, on the site there are several other short videos including one called The Documented Health Risks of Genetically Engineered Foods that I’m definitely going to watch. Here is the blurb about this documentary:
Genetic Roulette-The Gamble of Our Lives shows how genetically modified organisms (GMOs) are linked to disorders such as allergies, inflammatory bowel disease, infertility, autism, and cancer, to name a few. It reveals manipulation of research, attacks on independent scientists and their findings, and infiltration and control of government regulators. Although this film’s eye-opening evidence is sometimes shocking, it is by no means a downer. The filmmaker, Jeffrey Smith, explains that as little as 5% of the US population switching to non-GMO foods should deliver a tipping point, inspiring food companies to kick out GM ingredients. It was this kind of consumer rejection that already kicked GMOs out of Europe.

Oh my am I ever starting to learn about GMO’s. I am really glad I found your site…..such great information about all of this stuff. I will check out the movie you reference above.
I also recommend reading “Wheat Belly” which talks in great detail about how wheat has been made so bad to eat, and impossible to digest due to genetic modifying and hybridization.
Thanks for the movie tip. I hope it’s on netflix..!
This freaked me out even more about GMOs. So glad you’ve influenced me to the point that I try and eat almost exclusively from the farmers market. You’re awesome
